Customer support also apparently lacking
Several Notion Ink Adam tablet early adopters are venting their frustration about issues with their tablets and Notion Ink customer support on the Notionaddicts forum. @Rambler358 has complained about the build quality of his device, as well as the screen quality of the vaunted Pixel Qi display and the apparent lack of support received from Notion Ink.
Other users have also expressed similar frustrations. @Amtiks and @Mada have also reported that their displays appear as if there is a "vapor pattern" on the screen. According to the users, Notion Ink support has stated that the appearance of their display is a normal characteristic of the Pixel Qi display. Further, Notion Ink's customer support has also been reticient about user's attempting to return devices that may be affected by a defect.
The news is latest in what is becoming a series of setbacks for Notion Ink. Previously, it has also had to fend off claims about misleading product descriptions, and a bezel that increased in size relative to the display in product images on its website after pre-orders began.
