T-Mobile launches notify me page for Galaxy S 4G
T-Mobile has now confirmed that the Galaxy S 4G smartphone is indeed coming to the provider. No launch dates are yet available, and even the image is purposely edited as to not show any specifics. The page does allow users to sign up for updates, with more information promised to come in the coming weeks.
What the page does confirm is that the handset will run on T-Mobile's HSPA+ network and deliver download speeds of up to 21Mbps. It will also have Android 2.2 preloaded and sport a Super AMOLED touchscreen.
Preliminary specs that aren't yet confirmed should be identical to the Vibrant and include a 1GHz processor and 16GB of storage space. It was previously thought to be called the Vibrant 4G. It's unofficially expected to arrive on February 23, priced at $200 on a two-year contract.
