Update troubleshooting article added

Microsoft has expanded its support sites with a new document for "Troubleshooting problems during software update for Windows Phone 7." The entry does not specifically outline details of the update, but its presence has been viewed as a sign that a major update to the mobile OS may set to arrive in the very near future.

One of the upcoming updates was recently demonstrated in a preview video that confirmed faster load times. The release is expected to bring copy and paste capabilities, along with a revamped search function within the app marketplace.

Microsoft has already committed to releasing an update sometime soon, though the company has yet to announce a specific date or a time frame. Separate reports suggest Mobile World Congress may bring a second update with several significant changes. [via Pocketnow]

    Cool

They've come all the way to "hint" status after months of not even a clue when the patch they said would come out shortly after the phones entered the market would be available.

Way to drop the ball, oops, hinting that you dropped the ball Microsoft. You're worse than Android and it's OS version fragmentation with your update schedule.
