Verizon drops Palm Pixi Plus
Verizon's online store has dropped its last of the current webOS phones by shedding the Palm Pixi Plus. The phone is vanishing several months after the Pre Plus exit and just over a year after it reached stores. Verizon hasn't officially confirmed that the phone is out of stock.
AT&T and Sprint still have their respective Pixi Plus and original Pixi models.
What it would be replaced with, if anything, isn't known. Multiple slips and an FCC filing had pointed to a Pre 2 on Verizon in the fall, but it missed the suspected November target and isn't certain to arrive at all. With a Broadway or Manta. One of these could be a direct Pixi sequel, since Sprint briefly showed a Pixi with a front camera in one graphic.
