    Android Market login?

I'm signed in on Google in my computer's Chrome browser, when I go to the Android Market I see a separate Sign In link which takes me to an "invalid request" error when I click it. That doesn't make sense - is the marketplace ready or not?

    >>>And I care why.. ?

You should care because the Google Android Event is a preview of what Apple will be copying in the coming months.

Apple's iOS is quickly falling behind the times and Crapurtino is desperate to keep up with the undisputed leader in Mobile OS's. If they're not desperate, why all the effort from Jobs dissing Android during the earnings speech? In fact, they're frantically getting the iOS team together as we speak to see what ideas they can steal without paying royalties.

Google is kicking it up a notch with Android 3.0 and not looking back at all the wanna-beez fighting for the 2nd and 3rd place scraps of the Mobile OS world.

    looks good...

Apple's got some work to do to stay on top. I like what they are doing with the home screen on Honeycomb. Looks awesome! I have no doubt Apple will polish their iOS to match. I think the really important thing about all this is that it absolutely puts Microsoft's mobile plans into a tail spin. When I look at Honeycomb all I can think is "damn, this is what a good windows tablet should look like", except Google came up with it, not Microsoft. MS Mobile is dead. Completely buried with this release of Android. It's now a two player market (yes, I'm dismissing playbook also). Go Google! Go Apple! I like 'em both.
