New shades lend timeless quality to offerings

STM Bags has updated their Scout and Convoy offerings to include a black model for each, giving buyers another option in colors they can select for the fashionable shoulder bags (Scout) or backpacks (Convoy). The Scout line had previously had a black model, but only in the medium size: it's now available across the line. Both offer protection and extra storage for laptops, tablets or netbooks in various sizes.

The Scout is a sporty shoulder bag available in ochre, olive and now black, with a special 11-inch "silhouette" model specifically made for the smaller of the new MacBook Airs, iPads and 11-inch netbooks ($50). The Scout model is also available in Small (13-inch notebooks, $60) and medium (15-inch notebooks, $70).

The Convoy ($100) is a multi-pocketed backpack-style case available only in medium size, which accommodates anything up to 15-inch laptops and has a large amount of additional storage for power supplies, add-ons and other accoutrements. It also features a removable, integrated iPod pocket and sternum strap, tuck-away waist straps and rain cover, integrated phone pocket on the shoulder strap and an organizational panel for cords, drives, pens and so on.

All models are currently available for order on the company's website.
