Kenko shows C-mount camera system in Japan
Japan's Kenko at the Tokyo Big Sight show is demonstrating a mocked up camera and associated lenses based on the C-mount standard. The system was made for 16mm movie camera lenses and has a 1-inch diameter. The Kenko booth had 14 such lenses on display.
C-mount lenses are incompatible with 35mm SLR mounts but can be put on Micro Four Thirds cameras with the use of an adapter.
The Kenko C-Mount Camera System will arrive in Japan in the summer, with prices set at about 30,000 Yen ($366). [via PhotographyBlog]
