Galaxy S 4G to cost $149 on contract at Walmart

The upcoming Galaxy S 4G may cost $149 on a two-year contract, according to a leaked image, Android Life reported on Monday. The uncovered Walmart price lines up with the retail giant's 88-cent pricing schemes. The subsidized price will require a two-year smartphone contract or a full upgrade.

A shipping date is still unknown, but is expected in mid-February rather than T-Mobile's less specific target. Finally, the listing confirms the device's four-inch Super AMOLED display, a five-megapixel camera that records 720p video, a front-facing camera and the inclusion of a 16GB microSDHC memory card. Android 2.2 will come stock.
