Huawei shows off Ideos X3 phone, new S7 tablet

Huawei has offered an early look at two of the mobile devices it will bring to the Mobile World Congress show in Spain next week. This includes the Ideos X3 smartphone and a new Ideos S7 Slim tablet, both of which use the Android operating system. The S7 Slim looks to differ only slightly from the currently available device that shares the same name.

From the photo, it looks like the hardware button from the face is gone, replaced with touch buttons only. The seven-inch tablet should otherwise remain nearly the same as the current one, though the preloaded OS is likely to be at the very least Android 2.2 or maybe even 3.0 rather than 2.1.

While no specs accompany the photos, the Ideos X3 smartphone will also sport front and rear cameras and ship in at lest four colors: red, blue, silver and black.

More information on the pair of devices as well as some hands-on impressions and live photos are due next week. [via MobileBulgaria]
