PlayBook to cost $500 at Office Depot, due April

A newly leaked Office Depot ad for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet reveals the 16GB device with Wi-Fi will cost $500, according to CrackBerry. This is the first official hint of a price for the device and also reveals that it will become available in week 17 of the year, or somewhere between late March and early April.

Earlier this week, the PlayBook was reported to arrive at Staples, an Office Depot competitor. The PlayBook will bring with it Adobe Flash 10.1 support, a seven-inch touchscreen and dual HD-capable cameras, along with a 1GHz, dual-core processor.
