ViewSonic shows dual-SIM Android phone, tablet

ViewSonic Europe on Friday kicked off its Mobile World Congress presentation by introducing a dual-SIM Android phone, the V350, and a dual-boot, 10-inch ViewPad 10Pro. The former has a 3.5-inch touchscreen and uses Android 2.2. It can answer calls coming to either SIM card's phone number at the same time and is geared the most towards Europeans and Asians who have more than one provider.

Other features include a five-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, microSD slot and assisted GPS.

The ViewPad 10Pro is a 10-inch, 1024x600 professional tablet PC that can switch between Windows 7 Professional and Android 2.2. It will be powered by an Intel Oak Trail-era Atom processor. It supports Flash 10.1 and connects using either 3G or Wi-Fi networks. Bluetooth is included as wellm and ViewSonic promises at least six hours of battery life.

Pricing or release dates for the two devices are expected to be revealed at the show next week.
