Handset expected to arrive in early March

As promised, AT&T has begun taking pre-orders for Motorola's Atrix 4G handset. The device is expected to ship on March 6 for the standard smartphone price of $200, while a notebook dock accessory can be added to the handset bundle for an additional $300.

The Atrix features HSPA+ support for faster data speeds, while NVIDIA's dual-core Tegra 2 processor is paired with a 960x540 display and HDMI output. Other features include a five-megapixel camera, front-facing VGA sensor, and 1GB of RAM.

AT&T's HSPA+ plans follow the same pricing structure as the carrier's typical smartphone pricing, with 200MB of monthly data available for $15, 2GB for $25, or 4GB with tethering for $45.
