Motorola Atrix 4G said to debut on February 22?
The Atrix 4G flagship smartphone from Motorola may arrive sooner than previously expected, according to a new rumor. It may now arrive on February 22 rather than the expected March 1 ship date at AT&T leaked earlier, a tipster showed AndroidCentral. As proof, an image was sent over that depicts the new date and looks like an internal memo.
The Atrix 4G has HSPA+ 3G support and gets the dual-core Tegra 2 processor. It is unique as it offers an optional dock that resembles a netbook with an 11.6-inch display and full keyboard. The phone itself has a 4.1-inch, 960x540 display, front and rear cameras, 16GB of storage and dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi with hotspot support.
The phone is expected to cost $200 after subsidies and rebates, with the notebook dock either bundled in a contract or separate for $500. A smaller dock with USB ports for a keyboard will likely be priced at $60.
