LG Optimus 3D now up for pre-order in the UK

LG's upcoming Optimus 3D has shown up for pre-order on UK online retailer Expansys. Most significantly, the listing reveals a ship date of April 25, and an unsubsidized price of £515 with tax, or the equivalent of a high $836. While this still doesn't reveal a US ship date, and the price in the US is likely to be lower, it gives a ballpark should the Optimus 3D reach the US.

The phone runs on TI's OMAP 4430 dual-core, 1GHz processor and is purportedly the first phone to have dual channels and dual memory interfaces to keep it moving at top speed. It sports a 4.3-inch, 800x480 screen with a glasses-free 3D display, an 8-megapixel camera and Android 2.2 customized by LG with a new Hot Zone feature for navigating 3D apps. It is unique in being capable of recording 3D videos at 720p resolution and playing it back locally. The dual-lens camera can also capture 3D photos.
