HTC Incredible S arrives on Saturday in the UK
UK retailer Carphone Warehouse has begun offering the HTC Incredible S handset for pre-order in the UK. Those who got a chance to do so will be able to pick the device up on Saturday, February 24. Others who miss the opportunity can buy it on Thursday, March 3.
The news could indicate the device will ship in the US sometime soon as well, likely at Best Buy. No US carrier has been attached to the Incredible S, but the phone is a direct sequel to Verizon's Droid Incredible.
The Incredible S will ship with Android 2.2 but will be upgraded to Android 2.4 soon thereafter. It sports an eight-megapixel camera with autofocus in the rear, a 1.3-megapixel camera up front and 1.1GB of built-in storage. A second-generation, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU is present, as is 768MB of RAM and a microSD memory card slot. [via SlashGear].
