MiTAC releases images, early specs of new tablets

MiTAC has granted an early look at three upcoming Android tablets that it will officially show off at the CeBIT show in Germany in March. Among them are the seven- and 10-inch Valar models, differing only in their physical size. Both run on Android 2.3 and will output 1080p video over their HDMI ports as well as support GPS.

The seven-inch Ulmo is ruggedized and sports a waterproof casing. The seven-inch Zeus will be the first tablet with a dual GPS receiver for improved accuracy for navigation. It is just 11.6mm thick, or less than half an inch.

More tech specs, as well as ship dates and prices, are expected to come at the CeBIT show. [via AndroidCommunity]
