Nook Color down to $199 on eBay with coupon
Barnes & Noble has began selling the Nook Color e-book reader on its eBay store. The device is priced at just $199 after a $50 coupon is applied that's freely available on the listing. This is $50 less than the device trades for on Barnes & Noble's own website and in its stores.
The book retailer likely did this to compete with other eBay sellers that flaunt the company's wares on the auction site.
Unlike other e-book readers, the Nook Color sports an IPS-based LCD display. It also has Android 2.1 under a custom skin, though the device has been rooted to allow access to the Android Marketplace and e-books from Kindle through the Wi-Fi connection.
