NEC adds two new short throw business projectors

NEC this week added two new projectors to its business-oriented M range. The M300XS and M300WS are short-throw projectors and share many specs and features, including 3,000 lumens of light output and a 5,000-hour lamp life. Either can throw up images from just 1.8 feet away from the screen or wall.

Connections common to either include HDMI, dual VGA inputs and USB ports. The projectors can show images without a connected PC thanks to a USB viewer feature. Computer control is available for either as well, as is an integrated 10W speaker.

The key difference is native resolution, with the XS getting XGA (1024x768) and WS sporting a WXGA (1280x800) resolution.

The M300WX has a price of $999 and the M300WS selling for $1,099. Both ship later in March. [via SlashGear]
