Harman ships AKG GHS-1 gaming headphones

Harman brand AKG has introduced new gaming headphones, the GHS-1. The set is said to have high-output digital sound reproduction and sport a directional, 6mm cardioid boom microphone to filter out background noise. An in-line volume control and microphone power switch sit on the wire.

The headphones sport a '3D' folding headband, and are available in black or white or in camouflage. The closed-back design is said to be comfortable and add passive noise reduction. Output produces a frequency response of 18Hz to 24kHz, an input impedance of 32Ohms and an input sensitivity of 115dBSPL/V. Their maximum input signal is 35mW.

The GHS-1 set is now available for $80.
