Lexar first with Class 10, 128GB SDXC memory card

Lexar Media has now released its 128GB Professional 133x SDXC memory card, the first in the industry that combines such a high speed and large capacity. It's paired with a 64GB version, and either sports a minimum transfer speed of 20MB per second. Both are meant for professional photographers and videographers who mostly shoot RAW or record a large amount of 1080p video.

The 128GB capacity translates to 48 hours of 1080p video. Either ships with Image Rescue 4 software for recovery off cards despite being erased or corrupted.

The cards are now available, with the 64GB version priced at $200 while the 128GB model costs $330.
