HTC Arrive goes on sale at Sprint
Sprint as promised began selling the HTC Arrive on Sunday. Its adaptation of the 7 Pro is the first Windows Phone 7 device to ship with the NoDo update intact and can copy and paste text. The phone comes preloaded with Netflix as well as Sprint's first-ever WP7 apps, including NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile, Sprint Movies, and Sprint TV.
It remains the only other WP7 phone with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard but otherwise clings tightly to official Microsoft requirements. A 3.6-inch screen, a five-megapixel camera, a 1GHz Snapdragon and 16GB of built-in storage give it a slight edge.
Officially, Sprint sells the phone for $200 on contract or $450 without. Amazon Wireless, however, is selling the phone for just $50 on a contract, albeit at a higher $600 if bought contract-free.
