AT&T to ship Acer Iconia A501 tablet this summer

AT&T announced on Tuesday that it will launch the Acer Iconia Tab A501 4G tablet, Acer's first, this summer. The 10-inch device, first spoken about at CES early this year albeit for Verizon and going by the Iconia Tab A500 moniker, will sport a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 250 dual-core processor with integrated graphics processing. It will ship with Android 3.0 onboard as well.

Like the A500, the tablet will have a native resolution of 1280x800. An HDMI port will be built in and allow for playback of 1080p video on suitable external screens. There will be a five-megapixel camera in the back and a front-facing camera for video chats.

Despite the announcement, AT&T hasn't revealed pricing information or an exact ship date for the tablet. [via CNET]
