Widescreen display offers 1366x768 resolution

Toshiba has expanded its range of monitors with a new offering, the Mobile Monitor, which features a 14-inch LCD. The design aims to mimic a standard AC-powered monitor, but in a compact package that can be powered via USB when an outlet is unavailable. The widescreen LCD offers 1366x768 resolution, while the housing measures under one inch thick and weighs 2.8 pounds.

The monitor includes a black carry case, which doubles as an adjustable stand with several different positioning options. Users can connect the monitor to notebooks or desktop computers using a single USB cable that also stashes in the carrying case.

Toshiba is currently selling the Mobile Monitor for $200.
