Online iPad 2 sales begin in Australia, New Zealand

Shipping times already at 2-3 weeks
The iPad 2 is now on sale through Apple's Australia and New Zealand online stores. Within the latter country, Wi-Fi iPads are priced at $799 NZ for 16GB, $949 for 32GB, and $1,099 for 64GB. 3G models are $998, $1,149 and $1,289, respectively.
In Australia, Wi-Fi iPads are priced at A$579, $689 and $799. 3G versions are A$729, $839 and $949. Both countries are already seeing extended shipping times between two and three weeks.
Sales have opened in the region due to the time difference, already placing the countries within a March 25th launch window. Other countries getting the iPad 2 on the 25th include: Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Hungary, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. Debuts in Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea are scheduled for April.
