Sonos Controller app for Android pushed to April

Sonos has announced the delay of its Controller App for Android devices, originally due in March. The app is now not due out until April, due to longer-than-expected testing procedures. The free app will let Android device users control their Sonos multi-room streaming audio systems, just like the iOS app.

Users will also have the ability to stream music from the local network or from internet radio stations and services in any or all zones in their home. Unlike the iPhone app, however, users will have the ability to search for a track using their voice.

The app will require at least Android 2.1 with a 320x480 or larger screen resolution. [via SlashGear]
