Motorola details latest update for Atrix 4G
Motorola has given out full details of its new update for the Atrix 4G. Version 4.1.57 will not bring with it the promised HSUPA 3G compatibility or a fix for the voice quality problems, two of the major complaints surrounding the device. What it will improve is the Bluetooth multimedia experience, with support for more headsets.
There will also be improvements to the fingerprint reader's performance, longer battery life, improved phone stability and better performance when connected to the car dock or any other 3.5mm jack. The display will also turn off automatically when charging through a wall dock.
Also, the update has not yet been cracked to allow custom ROMs by any developers.
When the 17MB over-the-air update goes live hasn't been revealed, but Atrix 4G owners should begin seeing it this week.
