President Obama confirms he is an iPad user

updated 06:45 pm EDT, Mon March 28, 2011

Still using a Blackberry for phone, however

President Obama, speaking at a Univision-hosted "Town Hall" meeting in Washington DC, confirmed that he owns an iPad in response to a question about his use of technology. He also mentioned that he is still using a Blackberry device as his personal phone, a habit he has had since before his election.

Obama referred to his Blackberry by saying he had taken it off for the interview "because I didn't want it going off, that would be really embarrassing," he said, "but usually I carry a Blackberry around." The host, Jorge Ramos, then asked Obama if he had an iPad. "I do have an iPad," he confirmed, and used the question later as a joke.

"I mean, Jorge, I'm the president of the United States," he said. "You think I've got to go borrow somebody's computer? Hey man, can I borrow your computer? How about you? You've got one?" the president said to audience laughter.

The town hall conversation with Obama will be broadcast on Univision later this evening. The president has previously admitted that he and his children use Macs for their personal computers.

    Goof off device

No wonder he's not getting anything done. The iPad is a toy. Give Obama a real computer so he can do some actual work.

except that Obama is a far, far, far more competent president than Bush could ever dream in his sleep as being.

has just gone south. Obama *is* Bush, if you haven't noticed.

Obama's got a lot of work to do to reach the quality of Bush. For instance:

    - He needs to have his staff make up stories so he can invade a country.
    - He needs to figure out how best to take a revenue surplus and turn it into a trillion dollar deficit before he leaves office (which means he first has to wait for the republicans to fix the deficit before he can s**** it up again).
    - Has to drop even more regulation so large financial institutions can get back to getting the economy running again instead of worrying about making sure they are keeping their fiduciary responsibility to investors.

Of course, we can solve all of the nations problems by eliminating unions, so all those teachers, bus drivers, garbage men, etc, can stop living the high-life on the hard-working americans. Just look at Wisconsin. They're in the black and better than ever now that they've solved their fiscal crisis.
