Virgin Mobile says Incredible S is coming soon
Canadian wireless provider Virgin Mobile just announced on Twitter that it will soon launch the HTC Incredible S. Exactly when it will be out isn't known, but it's likely to mirror Bell's release on April 14. Virgin will price it at $500 CAD ($512), however, contract-free, according to a leaked Virgin inventory screen.
The Incredible S will be the fourth Android-powered handset in Virgin's lineup. It may ship with Android 2.2 but quickly be upgradeable to Android 2.3 or 2.4. It will sport an eight-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and autofocus, along with a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It centers on a four-inch 480x800 Super LCD display and stereo, simulated surround sound speakers. A second-generation 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 768MB of RAM handle processing. [via MobileSyrup]
