ePrint printers now support Google Cloud Print

HP on Thursday added the ability of Google Cloud Print users to print directly to their ePrint-enabled printer. As of late January, this now includes Android and iOS devices, in addition to any other device with HTML5 support. The HP ePrint devices don't require any physically connected PC or a special driver to support the wireless printing.

Google Cloud print is so far accessible through Gmail for Mobile, Google Docs for Mobile and Chrome OS, but will be added to third-party apps in the future, HP said.

Setting up the feature involves adding the compatible printer's specific e-mail address to a Google account. ePrint-enabled printers are available in HP's Photosmart, Officejet, Envy, and LaserJet Pro families.
