X10 Mini Pro to run Android 2.3
A new set of pictures has emerged of the forthcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro have surfaced. Following on from the leaked images in January this year, the new images confirm that the device is indeed running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Further, it appears that the device is also running a revised version of Sony Ericsson’s UXP launcher, the corner-driven UI that appears on the original Xperia X10 and X10 Mini Pro.
Details about the phone yet to be confirmed center on its specifications. It is said to sport a three-inch 320x480 display and a second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno GPU. It is also expected to be capable of HD video recording.
When it is released, it will be one of the first small form factor smartphones to feature Android 2.3.
