Symbian flagship device
The Nokia E7 Symbian QWERTY slider is now available on Amazon for $649 unlocked. The E7, which first started shipping to European markets in February this year, is one of Nokia’s flagship current generation Symbian OS devices. Although its OS is set to take a back seat Windows Phone 7 in 2012 and beyond, the E7 still offers users a strong physical keyboard and touchscreen combination.
The E7 centers on a ClearBlack-equipped 640x360 OLED display and integrates an 8-megapixel camera capable of shooting video on 720p. It has 16GB of internal memory, an HDMI output as well as Nokia’s implementation of USB on a mobile phone that supports external storage. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11n and a 3G radio that supports speeds up to 10.2Mbps.
Its Symbian OS includes built-in Exchange syncing, as well as support for multi touch input and multiple homescreens with widgets.
The unlocked Nokia E7 is shipping now from Amazon, with free postage.
