Droid X 2 seen in photos, HDMI output confirmed

The Motorola Droid X 2 has, once again, shown up in unofficial early photos thanks to AndroidCentral. There are more photos this time, showing off its settings screen. Android 2.2.2 is preloaded, though the production version is likely to have Android 2.3 by the time it ships.

The rear of the device has the same bump as the original Droid X, likely to make room for the eight-megapixel camera hardware. That camera gets dual LED flashes and can record HD video. Also spotted were an HDMI port and microUSB connection consistent with the earlier model.

When the phone ships isn't yet known, but it's expected to come this spring.
