Review: Energizer Inductive Charging Pad and iPhone case

We review Energizer's Qi wireless power pad

Inductive charging is theoretically the holy grail for convenience, and the young-in-the-tooth Qi standard promises to make it relevant for nearly any low-power gadget. With that in mind, Energizer is stepping up with the Inductive Charging Pad, a plate that can potentially power anything while going wire-free. We'll find out in our full review if it's the breakthrough it's meant to be or if there's still some big caveats at hand.

    If these were reliable...

...then this would be great news

I purchased one of the energiser induction chargers (4 controller version) to charge my 3 wii controllers about 8-10 months ago

Only 1 of the 4 batteries supplied with the charger continues to operate

I sent an email to Energizer in the US several months ago and then a month ago sent an email to PDP who are involved in selling the wii (2 controller) version of these chargers http://www.pdp.com/p-806-energizer-flat-panel-2x-charging-system.aspx
Neither of these emails were responded to

    "Hi

I have a problem with my Energizer Induction charger x4
The product has a 2 year warranty according to the box, was purchased less than 1 year ago (and as far as I am aware has been on the market no longer than 2 years), and is therefore definitely still covered under warranty

However, I am unfortunately unable to locate my receipt and return to the place of purchase for a replacement

The issue is that 3 of the 4 batteries show only the red light on the charger or nothing at all

Many companies would ignore this email since I have no proof of purchase, but I am confident that you will do the right thing and ensure that my batteries are replaced

    Thanks"
