TomTom ships Go 2535 M Live with HD Traffic in US

TomTom has began a widespread shipment of its Go 2405 and Go 2505-based GPS navigators in the US with the Go 2535 M Live, Go 2535 and Go 2545. The Go 2535 M Live first showed up at CES as the Go 2505 M Live while the latter pair shipped in February and sports voice recognition. The connected, five-inch Go 2535 M Live for the first time gives US users access to TomTom's HD Traffic services.

HD Traffic can recognize traffic conditions for all main and secondary roads in the US and updates conditions every two minutes. The AT&T-powered service will also offer Local Search by Google, gas prices, and weather. Users get 12 months of service for free out of the box.

The 4.3-inch Go 2435 and five-inch Go 2535 models get natural voice recognition that can detect more than 130 voice commands.

All three new devices sport a touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free calling and street name announcing.

The Go 2535 M Live will cost $349, while only a $249 starting price for the TomTom Go 2435 and 2535 was released. They ship to Amazon, Best Buy and online at TomTom later in April.
