Alienware M14x, M18x show briefly at Dell Canada

Dell Canada's website has put up product pages for the company's recently-leaked Alienware gaming notebooks, notably the new, large 18-inch M18x and the 14-inch M14x. The notebooks aren't yet ready for prime time, however, as the product pages have been pulled. Engadget managed to get specs for the M18x before the page was taken down, however. The inclusion of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 460M is confirmed, and the basic M18x will also get 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, and a 2.8GHz Core i7 CPU, all for $2,000 CAD (about $2,090).

Options include as much as a 3.4GHz (likely overclocked or Turbo Boosted) processor, 8GB of RAM, 750GB of storage space, and dual AMD Radeon HD 6970M graphics chipsets, all of which bump up the price tag to nearly $3,000 CAD. Windows 7 Home Premium and a 1080p, 18.4-inch display are common to either system. The notebook was also estimated to ship early in May.

Specs for the M14x weren't captured, but it is expected to share most of the specifications except for the dual graphics and the 3.4GHz option.
