Premier customers can get Echo dual screen now

Sprint is making its Kyocera Echo dual screen smartphone available immediately to Premier users, three days ahead of its scheduled availability on April 17. Sprint Premier customers can get their phone today by going to the Sprint Premier website for $200. Regular customers will have to wait until Tuesday.

The Echo sports two 3.5-inch, 800x480 displays. Multiple apps can run on both screens simultaneously, one app can run on both screens, or the second screen can slide behind the first and the Echo will run as a regular smartphone. It comes with a five-megapixel camera with 720p video, an 8GB microSDHC card and runs Android 2.2. [via Engadget]
