3 UK claims legitimate white iPhone 4 sale
British carrier 3 has oddly broken out and posted an order page for the white iPhone 4. The site only allows use of the £35 The One Plan but allows a legitimate checkout. Support staff have said the sales are legitimate.
Other carriers and the Apple Store still only show the black version. Shipments from 3 UK would supposedly arrive as soon as April 20.
Its posting has come without any official confirmation from Apple and might be premature. The appearance still followed just as the long-delayed color reached Verizon's inventory system and after repeated rumors of a late April release. If valid, 3 UK could be a precursor to white iPhone launches later this week. [via Recombu]
