Costco image leak confirms Charge due on April 28
The upcoming Droid Charge smartphone from Samsung will arrive on the previously anticipated April 28, a Costco inventory image revealed. Whether the recent disaster in Japan will delay the device remains to be seen. Courtesy of Droid-Life, the listing also showed the Motorola Bionic will arrive at Costco on May 12.
This goes against a rumor that the Bionic will be cancelled and replaced by the Targa. Droid-Life was convinced, however, that this is indeed the case and the Bionic won't be coming mid-May. It instead anticipated the Targa coming roughly two months after the phone's date.
Rumors have swirled around the Bionic of power issues and other flaws that were keeping it from an intended spring release. The Verizon flagship is supposed to have the same dual-core Tegra 2 processor as the Atrix on AT&T but half the RAM in return for faster 4G data.
