Notebooks available with Core i3/i5 CPU options

Asus is reportedly set to introduce several new ultraportables, including three models carrying the model designations U31SD, U31E and U63SD. The three 13.3-inch variations were first spotted by the Swedish site Technytt, though the U31SD has already been added to ASUS' website. Configurations include a choice between Intel's Core i5 2410M or Core i3 2310M processors.

The U31SD provides further options for integrated graphics or a 1GB GeForce GT discrete card. The notebook weighs in at 3.9 pounds, with a housing that measures one-inch thick. The U26SD is said to step down to a 0.75-inch housing, while the U31E reportedly omits an option for discrete graphics.

ASUS has yet to formally announce the new notebooks, leaving pricing information and further details unclear. [via Engadget
