RockMelt to bring out social browser for iPhone
(Update: released, link below) RockMelt has revealed a new iPhone version of its browser that will synchronize with its desktop version. While it's not yet available from the App Store, the browser will sport the same Read Later option for saving websites to read at a more convenient time and gets Twitter and Facebook management tools. It will let users post on either, as well as add photos, geotag locations and open social links.
Tapping an update that contains a link will open the web page below the text of the message. Only tabbed and private browsing are missing compared to the desktop. The app is expected to be out at the official App Store in the next few days and has already been submitted.
An iPad-oriented version is also in the works, and RockMelt is considering launching one for Android devices as well.
Update: Now available (free, App Store)
