Sony NEX-C3 shows up, NEX-7 due in September

The upcoming Sony NEX-C3 camera has now been spotted thanks to SonyAlphaRumors. It reportedly shares the same 16.2-megapixel sensor as the Alpha A55 and the ability to record HD video. The camera has been delayed due to the recent natural disaster in Japan, and a new ship date isn't yet known.

The camera, along with the A35, was supposedly due to be officially announced on April 14. It's now rumored to be announced sometime in May. It will be available in black and silver and sport an external flash.

The same source said the higher-end NEX-7 will be announced in mid-July and begin shipping in September. Under the claim, it would have a 24-megapixel sensor, multiple manual controls, and a body made up of high-quality materials. It would have the ability to record 1080p video at 30FPS or 720p video at 60FPS. A three-million dot viewfinder is present as well. Along with a kit lens, it is expected to cost $1,300.
