Verizon HTC Trophy shows at Best Buy for $600

The Verizon-bound and Windows Phone 7-powered HTC Trophy has shown up on Best Buy's site, albeit briefly. It also wasn't listed as being in stock, though its price tag is set at $600, PocketNow reported on Wednesday. That price is likely just a placeholder but could also show the handset's unsubsidized price tag.

The phone was expected to launch last month, so it's somewhat overdue as it would be Verizon's first and only WP7 phone. The listing reveals the model number of MWP6985. It is unofficially expected to arrive at Verizon sometime in May.

The phone's major specs include a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 3.8-inch, 480x800 touchscreen, an aluminum shell, a five-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal storage space.
