Chip supports six displays, OpenCL

AMD has introduced a new graphics processor, the Radeon E6760, that is geared for embedded devices used by businesses. The component features OpenCL and DirectX 11 support, while enabling devices to distribute video output to six independent displays. Input can be processed through 480 shader processors and 1GB of GDDR5 memory.

The company suggests its latest embedded GPU will improve graphics capabilities for casino gaming, arcades and medical imaging systems, among other products. The chip can be used to decoded H.264 video, Blu-ray content, and stereoscopic 3D imagery.

Pricing and launch information for the E6760 has yet to be announced. AMD notes that it will eventually pair the GPU with its Llano chips for additional performance.
