BenQ shows 14-megapixel camera with Lomo filter

Taiwanese electronics maker BenQ has introduced the E1465 camera on Monday. The device sports a 14-megapixel sensor and a number of creative effects options that include Lomo, Fish Eye and Color Accent. The Lomo mode is rare and deliberately invokes the low-fidelity effect for retro-looking images without needing a separate app.

The camera also gets a 5cm (two-inch) super macro mode for extreme close-ups. It packs a 27mm wide-angle lens, 720p movie recording capability, and an ISO range of up to 6400. A panorama mode lets users simply take a wide angle shot by guiding users on how to stitch two to three images together.

BenQ will ship the E1465 in global markets in May, though prices haven't been revealed.
