Business as usual despite recent security problems

Sony today has announced a family of six in-ear headphones brandishing the PSP badge. The headphones provide 100dB/mW output at 16 ohms and are specially designed to produce high resolution sound. Neodymium magnets are incorporated to provide a strong bass tone to complement a relatively crisp treble output. A 3.5mm stereo plug enables them to be used with almost any of today's portable audio devices, not just Sony's gaming handheld.

The headphones will be available in Japan later this summer. Pricing is estimated at 2,200 yen ($27 USD). It's not known if or when the headphones will reach other countries. [via Akihabara]
