Feature rumored to be added with upcoming update

Microsoft may be planning to bring visual voicemail to an upcoming Windows Phone update. The rumor was posted in a tweet from the Twitter account @WindowsPhone8, which has leaked several other legitimate details surrounding Windows Phone features that were likely being tested by developers ahead of official announcements.

The upcoming software update, referred to as Mango, is also expected to add multitasking, UI improvements, and additional options for home tiles based on third-party apps, among other features and tweaks.

Microsoft has yet to confirm plans to update its mobile platform with visual voicemail. The Windows Phone 7.5 update is expected to arrive this fall. [via Winrumors]
