Contour+ lifestyle camera has adjustable lens
Contour, maker of the Contour GPS lifestyle camera, has now announced its latest Contour+ system. The two share integrated GPS sensors, Bluetooth 2.1 and 1080p video recording capabilities at 30fps. The Contour+ stands out with a mini HDMI output and a microSD memory card slot to bring expansion while keeping its design small.
The new camera also ships with an HDMI cable, a 2GB microSD card and three mounts. The rotatable lens can be adjusted for a 170 degree field of view, where it records at either 960p or 720p resolution, or 125 degrees and 1080p. The old camera had a 135-degree maximum field of view.
The Contour+ is now said to be shipping for $500.
