Boost Mobile picks up Motorola Clutch i475, Theory, i412

Available with $50 monthly prepaid plan


Boost Mobile has announced the latest additions to its line up of phones for its prepaid phone service. Manufactured by Motorola, the Clutch i475, i412, and Theory will be available with the Boost Mobile’s $50 Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage plan. They are priced at $100, $70 and $80 respectively. The Clutch i475 is available now. The other phones will be generally available by the end of June. Both the i412 and Clutch i475 offer push-to-talk (PTT) walkie-talkie service operating on Sprint’s iDEN network.

The Clutch i475 is a follow on the the popular Clutch smart phone introduced in late 2009. The new version sports a candy-bar design, QWERTY keyboard, threaded messaging for streamlined texting, VGA camera and GPS. The Clutch i475 is already available online and in Boost's own stores, and should be available at other stores later in the month

The Theory also is a candy-bar device, It features a QWERTY keyboard, threaded messaging, a 1.3MP camera and 2.4-inch QVGA display. It will be available June 7 at Boost Mobile stores and both official and some unofficial retail stores. In late June, Theory will be at major retail chains.

The i412 is a flip design. it features iTap, a predictive text entry technology a VGA camera with zoom, GPS functionality, and Java support for games and apps. The i412 will be available June 13 at boostmobile.com, Boost stores and some retail outlets. It will be generally available in late June.
