Designer phone will be available in July.

KDDI has introduced the Infobar A01, the first smart phone in the Infobar series to run Android 2.3 OS. Unique to the A01, the interface to the Android OS is tiles rather than buttons. Packaged under KDDI's iida brand and manufactured by Sharp, the A01 comes with a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 3.7-inch screen (960×540), an eight Megapixel camera, and NFC eWallet.

Designed in four colors, the A01 will be available in July. Pricing has not been announced. It is unlikely that the Infobar A01 will reach US shores anytime in the near future. [via akihabara]
