Leak shows LG Revolution due on May 26
A new leak shows LG's Revolution smartphone is due to arrive on May 26 at Verizon, making it the third 4G LTE-capable device at the carrier. That same Thursday should also see the launch of the Droid X2 and Xperia Play. The images below brought to us by Droid-Life also show some changes compared to the version of the handset seen last.
They include a black back rather than a silver one, Bing instead of Google Search and the first native Netflix app on Android. Version 2.2 of the software will be preloaded, though overlaid with LG's custom User Interface. A 4.3-inch touchscreen is present, as is a five-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front shooter.
Otherwise, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU is accounted for, as is an HDMI output and a 16GB microSD card for storage. The phone will also support the Qi wireless charging standard.
Pricing for the handset remains a mystery but, like earlier LTE phones, could cost $250 or more.
